Corporate Citizenship

At OBXtek, our commitment to giving back informs every decision we make. It shifts our focus from bottom-line to big picture.

We believe our values should be reflected in every decision we make, and this has transformed the way we approach both our business and our sponsorship.

OBXtek was founded as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business and we believe strongly in supporting disabled veterans and the broader service community through targeted giving, scholarship, and employment opportunities. We're a proud yearly sponsor of the NA KOA Regatta which promotes public awareness and increased employment opportunities for Wounded Warriors.

The NA KOA Regatta introduced the company to the Hawaiian concept of Ohana - an extended family that includes individuals and communities that have been intentionally adopted. An Ohana works together to better the community, actively supporting its members. At OBXtek our Ohana stretches from the beaches of Hawaii to Corolla, NC in the Outer Banks from which we derive our name, and it incorporates our clients, our employees, and our families.

In Corolla, we provide computers and technology grants to the Waters Edge School, a charter that serves a rural but growing community. Through our employees, who are invited to direct company giving to specific causes on their behalf, our Ohana grows to include a diverse and ever-changing portfolio of organizations and events. And we're fully committed to supporting our clients by offering exceptional service.
