Corporate Citizenship

At OBXtek, our commitment to giving back informs every decision we make. It shifts our focus from bottom-line to big picture.

We believe our values should be reflected in every decision we make, and this has transformed the way we approach both our business and our sponsorship.

OBXtek was founded as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business and we believe strongly in supporting disabled veterans and the broader service community through targeted giving, scholarship, and employment opportunities. We're a proud yearly sponsor of the NA KOA Regatta which promotes public awareness and increased employment opportunities for Wounded Warriors.

The Serve Our Willing Warriors (SOWW) organization provides non-clinical support programs to wounded, ill, or injured service members during their medical recovery.Their primary goal is to reinforce the mental, emotional, and spiritual well being of the wounded and their families, providing strength their journey. Our programs include retreat stays, educational and therapeutic activities, and linking the Warriors to a network of organizations and individuals who can advise, support, or guide their transition back to civilian life

In the last 2 years, SOWW has broken ground on a 37-acre Warrior Retreat and provided support to over 200 warriors and nearly 600 family members. OBXtek is honored to support the growth of such a dedicated organization which values the sacrifice and courage of our warriors and their families.

OBXtek is also proud to support the following organizations:

ARMR has developed hemorrhage control systems designed to increase the survivability of traumatic battlefield injury in situations where advance medical support is not immediately available.

In 2017 OBXtek offered a scholarship to attend the Veteran Entrepreneur Training Symposium for a new veteran-owned business. The scholarship included registration fees as well as travel support.

At the request of an employee, OBXtek gladly sponsored a personal team participating in the Northern Virginia Downs Syndrome Buddy Walk, a walk established in 1995 Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.
