Veterans and Education
OBXtek was founded as a service-disabled veteran owned small business. As a veteran-owned company, we believe strongly in supporting disabled veterans and the broader service community through targeted giving, scholarship, and employment opportunities.
Since our founding, all the organizations we have volunteered with or donated to have been suggestions from our employees. Because of these recommendations, we have worked with so many remarkable organizations, such as Semper K9 Assistance Dogs, Kina’ole Foundation, and Serve Our Willing Warriors.
The OBXtek Charitable Foundation was established to provide a structure to positively address social issues and make an even greater impact on our communities.
Community has always been a core value of OBXtek, and we are passionate about serving the communities where we live and work. Our goal is to give back and engage our employees in building more sustainable communities.
OBXtek has supported and donated to the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, Equal Justice Initiative, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the USO, and Capital Area Food Bank.
