National Guard Bureau awards OBXtek $3.8 million contract
Tysons Corner, VA, January 7, 2019 – OBXtek Inc. was awarded a contract to provide training exercise support services to the National Guard Bureau (NGB). The five-year, $3.8 million contract was awarded through the OASIS Small Business contract vehicle.
OBXtek will provide training exercise support services to the Joint Staff’s Joint Exercise Program (JEP), Chairman’s Exercise Program (CEP), and National Exercise Program (NEP), across a full spectrum of possible emergencies that may occur due to natural disaster, mass accidents, terrorist events, or threats to the U.S.
“OBXtek is excited to expand our relationship with the National Guard Bureau and to assist with the exercise support programs,” said Dale Spencer, OBXtek president and chief operating officer. “We look forward to supporting the National Guard Bureau in its mission to maintain properly trained and equipped units.”
Additionally, OBXtek will assist with the planning, development, execution, and post-exercise support for the NGB and Joint Force Headquarters State training and exercise programs, the NGB Joint Staff, and the NGB Adaptive Battle Staff (ABS).
