OBXtek promotes Jennifer Liu to Vice President, Operations

McLean, VA, January 20, 2023 - OBXtek Inc. has promoted Jennifer Liu to Vice President, Business Operations. In this role, Ms. Liu will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee activities and daily workflow in the business operations organization, inclusive of the PMO and Corporate Communications.

“Jennifer has been crucial across the entire spectrum of OBXtek’s operations and business development efforts. She has clearly improved everything she has touched…from modernizing our new opportunity business development pipeline, to creating a new workflow automating several steps, to creating ways to track financial performance across the organization,” said Mike McKinney, OBXtek chief operating officer. “OBXtek would not have made the strides we have over the last two years without Jennifer’s ideas and expertise. And, as they say, people are promoted not for what they have done, but what they will do in the future at the new level, I very much look forward to seeing what Jennifer delivers in the next few years.”

Ms. Liu joined OBXtek four years ago as the Project Management Office (PMO) Director. She has stood up the company’s first Project Management Office, standardized the strategic goals process by migrating it to Microsoft Power BI providing leadership a centralized location to monitor progress, and built an in-house capture and planning management tool for business development to streamline their processes and create efficiencies. She has expanded operational planning to establish the foundation for the company’s outyear projections, developed and established the company’s first transition process that has been marked as a company strength by multiple government clients, and developed and implemented operation strategies and objectives ensuring achievement of organization’s goals and objectives.

“I am fortunate for all the opportunities that I have been given since joining OBXtek,” said Ms. Liu. “This is a high growth time for OBXtek and I'm excited to take on an expanded role to position the company for long-term growth and continued success.”
