OBXtek hires Susan M. Hinkle as Director of Quality

McLean, VA, November 9, 2021 - OBXtek has named Susan M. Hinkle, a seasoned quality and program management professional, as the new Director of Quality. In this role, Ms. Hinkle will be responsible for managing all aspects of OBXtek’s quality program, including our CMMI-ML3 for development, CMMI-ML3 for services, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, ISO 14001, and ISO/IEC 27001-1 certifications.

Prior to joining OBXtek, Ms. Hinkle worked as the Director of Corporate Solutions at Addx Corporation, where she directed and developed strategic plans for the implementation of continuous process improvements. Ms. Hinkle is a highly accomplished, hands-on manager with experience directing IT and project management teams in the private industry, as well as government and government contracting. She is a quality expert and author of “Take a Quality Ride - The Realities of Implementing a Quality Management System.” Ms. Hinkle holds a B.S. in Social Science and Political Science from Concordia University and an MBA from Suffield University.

Ms. Hinkle replaces John Olsen, who is retiring from OBXtek after seven years. Mr. Olsen was integral in building the OBXtek quality program and obtaining our six certifications.
