OBXtek successfully completes certification audit for integrated quality management system

McLean, VA, April 22, 2022 – OBXtek Inc. successfully completed a certification audit for our integrated quality management system, which includes the ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 27001 quality certifications.

“The successful re-certification of our Integrated Quality Management System clearly demonstrates OBXtek’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement,” said Susan M. Hinkle, OBXtek director of quality.

The OBXtek Integrated Quality Methodology (OIQM) provides a unified set of processes that is easier to understand and implement, while covering all the requirements of the various standard bodies. The OIQM also eliminates redundancies in reports and meetings, saving valuable company resources while fulfilling the objectives of the integrated quality system.

The ISO 9001:2015 is a Quality Management System (QMS) standard based on seven quality management principles that senior management can apply to promote organizational improvement.

The ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 is a service management system (SMS) standard. It specifies requirements for the service provider to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain and improve an SMS.

The ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an international standard that provides a framework for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) to provide continued confidentiality, integrity and availability of information as well as legal compliance.
